Kevin Costner is finally putting rumors to rest as he addresses his relationship with singer Jewel. On June 18, 2024, during an interview on The Howard Stern Show, Costner revealed that his relationship with Jewel is purely platonic.
Howard Stern, never one to shy away from a juicy topic, directly asked Kevin Costner about the romance rumors swirling around him and the Foolish Games singer. To this Kevin replied,
“No, Jewel and I are friends. We’ve never gone out ever. She’s special, and I don’t want – I don’t want these rumors to ruin our friendship because that’s what we have. She’s special to me”.
To further assert his point of sharing a platonic bond with Jewel, Kevin added,
“We have a friendship. We don’t have a romance and we’ve never dated”.

Back in November 2023, the Yellowstone star was seen attending an annual fundraiser event hosted by Jewel on a private island. Addressing that event, Costner told Stern that it was the very first time he crossed paths with the singer. He added,
“She was somebody I just had some tremendous conversations with… and I don’t want the press to ruin this for us…”
Later in December 2023, TMZ released some pictures of the two, in a cuddly position with each other. These pictures were the start of the dating rumors.
Linked since November 2023, Kevin Costner and Jewel are both divorced but maintain a strong bond with each other. Kevin Costner was earlier married to Christine Baumgartner for two decades. The couple divorced in September 2023 and share three children together. Jewel, on the other hand, divorced her ex-husband in 2014 and has a son with him.
