Navigating a public breakup is never simple, but Ali Krieger is finding her voice as she discusses her feelings post her divorce from Ashlyn Harris. In a candid episode of the She Pivots podcast, premiered on July 24, 2024, Krieger opened up about the impact the divorce had on her.

Speaking to host Emily Tisch Sussman, Ali revealed the mental toll that she faced during her split from Harris. She also emphasized the difficulties of coping with a failed marriage. She shared,

“It gave me time from when [Ashlyn] left to really focus on… healing my wounds and kind of licking my wounds so to speak. I think, now, eight, nine months down the road has given me time to grieve, and sort through all those feelings”. 

The former soccer star further revealed in the podcast how she never wanted to divorce Krieger. She added to her statement,

“I was willing to fight to make it all work. I really did love what we had. And I really loved her and our kids”.

Looks like Ali Krieger is moving on and has found love again after her difficult divorce. The former Olympian revealed that she’s off the market and in a new romantic pursuit. However, the identity of the person remains a mystery as she shared,

“I am dating a wonderful person right now, who I really, really like. I am, you know, so grateful that we met”.

Ali Krieger and Ashlyn Harris met as members of the United States Women’s National Soccer Team in 2010. They dated for almost a decade before getting married in 2019. After four years of marriage, the pair got divorced in September 2023. Prior to this podcast episode, Ashlyn also opened up about her own struggles during the divorce.
