Wedding bells have finally rung for actress Saoirse Ronan as she secretly tied the knot with her longtime love Jack Lowden. The couple exchanged their vows in an intimate ceremony held over the weekend of July 20, 2024, at the Edinburgh Central Registrar’s Office in Scotland.

News of Ronan and Lowden’s marriage broke when the Irish Independent revealed details of the private ceremony. The outlet reported that the couple opted for a low-key affair, attended by only a close circle of friends. Moreover, to maintain utmost privacy, guests were sworn to secrecy.

Saoirse and Jack have registered their marriage on the Scottish civil marriage registry records. They chose to legally tie the knot in Scotland as it is Lowden’s native country. Given their private nature, neither Ronan nor Lowden has publicly acknowledged their marriage yet.

The Outrun star first sparked engagement rumors in October 2023. While attending a fashion show in Paris, Saoirse Ronan was spotted with a huge diamond ring on her ring finger. However, she managed to evade the rumors at the time. 

Saoirse Ronan and Jack Lowden first met on the set of  their film Mary Queen of Scots, in 2018. The pair quietly dated before sparking engagement rumors in late 2023. Now, after nearly six years together, Ronan and Lowden have tied the knot.
