During a candid interview on the Australian radio show Will & Woody on March 7, 2025, Gaga opened up about how her demanding career affects their relationship and how Michael handles it all with patience and understanding.
Speaking with the hosts, the singer revealed that creative inspiration often hits right in the middle of her quality time with her fiancé. Luckily, she shared how he’s always incredibly supportive in those moments, saying,
“It can hit at inconvenient times for sure. When I’m writing a lot, it comes a lot more frequently. It’s like, so cute when I’m with my man… we’ll be doing something and if I’ve been working all day, and then I have another idea, he’s like, just go do it. He knows I have to go write the song”.
But Michael’s support doesn’t stop there. Gaga revealed yet another sacrifice he makes for her music, laughing as she described how he endures her late-night creative outbursts. She said,
“I sleep with the phone by the bed and so sometimes, Michael will just [wake up] and hear me humming. I hear it back and I’m like, man, I thought I was such a genius at 3 a.m. and this is horrible”.

“Gaga can’t wait to have a family with Michael, they’re such a great team, she knows that they’ll be excellent parents together. In some ways, finding such a great partner was Gaga’s first step. Her wish is to get pregnant this year but they’re not pressuring things”.
