Jennifer Lopez’s latest performance at the 2025 American Music Awards left the crowd absolutely stunned.
On the night of May 26, 2025, the 55-year-old superstar, who also hosted the awards ceremony, delivered a powerhouse six-minute opening medley featuring 23 chart-topping hits from recent years.
The setlist included hit tracks like Birds Of A Feather by Billie Eilish, Not Like Us by Kendrick Lamar, Charli XCX and Billie Eilish’s Guess, among several others.
J.Lo dazzled in a shimmering nude jumpsuit that hugged her every curve, adorned with an intricate, futuristic pattern of blue and white beadwork that caught the light perfectly.
But the real jaw-dropper came when she shocked the audience by sharing steamy, passionate kisses, first with a male backup dancer, then a female one, captured in a dramatic close-up by the cameras.

After the medley, comedian Tiffany Haddish took the stage to give Jennifer a playful shoutout, saying,
“Just from that opening number alone, Jenny from the Block has got all her steps in for the day, and she got all her kisses in. Save a dancer for me, J.Lo. Damn! You ain’t the only one out here single”.
While fellow celebrities showered J.Lo with praise, the internet’s reaction was anything but kind.

During a red carpet interview with Access Hollywood after her electrifying performance, the On the Floor singer opened up about the kisses she shared with her backup dancers and the creative vision behind it.
Speaking with host Lauren Herbert, she explained,
“I feel really good and I’m glad that it’s over. You know, I am always challenging myself and kind of pushing myself, so there’s always this kind of like, what might happen? But, that’s the exciting part I think”.
Jennifer’s eyebrow-raising performance came just a day after she teased the moment in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE magazine. Subtly alluding to her split from Affleck, she told the outlet on May 25,
“It seems like a perfect summer to celebrate being free and being happy. Just everything in my life right now just feels really healthy and good, and I’m ready to get out there and make people sing and dance and have a good time”.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were married for two years, from July 2022 to July 2024, before the singer filed for divorce in August 2024. Their divorce was finalized in January 2025.
