On June 4, 2025, multiple media outlets reported their breakup, citing anonymous sources who confirmed the news to them.
One insider close to Johnson, 35, and Martin, 48, told PEOPLE magazine about the current dynamic between the duo. Alluding to past breakup rumors that surfaced in mid-2024 but later proved false, the source shared,
“It feels final this time”.
However, neither the Materialists star nor the Coldplay frontman has publicly addressed the split yet.
