In August 2022, the first season of Tyler Stanaland’s Selling The OC dropped on Netflix. And… the audience could smell something fishy going on between Tyler and fellow co-star Kayla Cardona. It led to the rumors of Tyler being unfaithful to Brittany.
In an attempt to redeem his faithful married man image, in August 2022, Tyler accused Kayla of trying to kiss him despite the fact that he was married. In episode 528 of the Reality Life With Kate Casey podcast, the realtor and actor claimed,
“One night, Kayla did try to kiss me. And then it happened another night as well, she genuinely tried to kiss me.”
Kayla retaliated by saying that Tyler didn’t seem to have any problem with her flirting with him, and whenever she did, he would flirt right back. Looks like Tyler Stanaland is not the goody-two-shoes he claimed to be on the podcast episode!
September 2022 – Brittany and Tyle Split
Two years after a dreamy wedding, Brittany Snow and Tyler Stanaland split up in September 2022. The shocking news came a few months into the whole Kayla Cardona and Tyler scandal.
Brittany and Tyler released a joint statement on all their socials to announce their divorce. There wasn’t any solid reason stated for the fallout of the marriage at the time.

September 2023 – Tyler Makes Another Scandalous Move
However, in September 2023, Tyler was seen getting intimate with co-star Alex Hall on the second season of Selling The OC reality show. The pair even shared a steamy kiss in a bathtub for the whole world to see. Oh boy!
And safe to say, Brittany Snow took that as her que to spill all the nasty beans on her highly public divorce with Tyler.
March 2024 – Brittany Spits Fire, Tyler Spits Back
On March 27, 2024, in an episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast with Alexandra Cooper, Brittany Snow addressed the entire Kayla-Tyler-Alex fiasco. She said,
“I don’t want to give them any more time and energy because then they would win. And they would get what they wanted, which was getting my time and energy and attention.”
Brittany also revealed that she was not aware of her ex-husband’s feelings for Alex Hall. She learned about it while watching the infamous kiss play out on the big screen. (To find out your ex has already moved on via a TV show? Imagine that!)
Snow said,
“What people think happened, happened! They messed up. I tried very hard to see it all from every side and release that anger. I had instincts but because I was in love I didn’t trust them.”
Fans flooded the podcast with comments in support of Brittany. One comment read,
“Tyler was awful on the show, pretending to be a good guy but blatantly overstepping boundaries and disrespecting his marriage. The flirty behavior, the touchy feely ness … so disgusting!”
Tyler didn’t hold back after the podcast aired and took to his Instagram story on March 28, 2024 to give his side of the narrative. He disputed Brittany’s remarks on the podcast and denied all cheating allegations against him.
