In 2019, in a candid interview on an episode of Messy Imperfect Life, he spoke about his family. He mentioned how most of his 6 siblings have broken marriages, which has led him to never get married.

He told podcast host Leigh,

“I have never been married, never had kids. I always knew this is what I want.”

However, Flynn also revealed that in the past, he was involved with an unnamed woman for several years in an on and off relationship. He said,

“I’ve been involved with a woman for a long time now. At the moment, we are friends, platonic friends.”

The identity of this mysterious woman is an unsolved mystery. However, in 2009, the Scrubs actor was snapped by paparazzi while shopping in Hollywood, LA with an unnamed woman.

I wonder- could it be the same “platonic friend”?
