The identity of Lauren Compton’s boyfriend has remained a mystery for a long, long time. She has been really selective about her previous relationships and has always kept them away from social media.

Who is Lauren Compton Dating Now?
Lauren Compton’s current boyfriend is Mark Avalos, pit-master and co-founder of an Austin-based barbeque restaurant called SLAB BBQ.
While Lauren didn’t publicly reveal Mark’s full name, she did describe him as a bearded guy with a belly who is also a pit-master in Austin. That’s how we were able to look into all the Marks who fit the description and find the exact man!
According to Mark’s LinkedIn profile, he studied at St. Edward’s University and has a B.A. in Psychology. Lauren and Mark have a six-month age gap.

How Lauren Met Mark
In a candid interview with Out And About, Lauren talked about how she met Mark. Sparks began to fly (quite literally) after the 4th of July celebrations when she crossed paths with her beau.
Fondly looking back on this day, she said,
“The day that we met we were never really apart.”
She confessed her love for him and playfully remarked that he’s never allowed to leave her.
She added,
“Out of all the people I have dated he is the best at listening”.
Could this mean that Mark has really captured Lauren’s heart for good?
It does seem plausible because on the topic of love, she said she doesn’t really have a type in men but prefers guys who are all about her. (Girl, same.)
They Live Together!
Lauren also revealed that the lovebirds live together in Mark’s apartment that he apparently bought for her. Turns out, they spend a lot of quality time together, sharing their love for cooking.
The actress spoke about how her boyfriend surprises her with gifts from time to time and how she adores the fact that he buys her kitchen-wear frequently.
With a chuckle, she revealed,
“The more that I cook for him, the more bougie things I get.”
Is Marriage On The Cards?
In Christina P.’s podcast Where My Moms At?, Lauren expressed her desire to marry Mark. She revealed that Mark knows what kind of ring she wants for her wedding because she has the picture of a diamond ring set as her phone’s screensaver. Lauren also said that she wishes to have kids!
It’s clear that Lauren is pretty confident about her relationship with Mark. Yet, a question lingers – why is she yet to make her relationship Instagram official?
My best guess is she doesn’t want to jinx it and, as always, wants to keep her intimate relationships away from the public eye. Well, I hope we hear some good news soon!
