Britney Spears reconnected with a part of her past during a recent trip to Las Vegas. She and her brother Bryan Spears reportedly met up with her former fiancé, Jason Trawick, in the last week of May 2024.
This secret reunion came to light when anonymous sources exclusively told TMZ that Britney, Bryan, and Jason reportedly hung out at a luxury resort called Resorts World Las Vegas. According to the sources, Jason currently resides in Las Vegas, and the Spears duo reached out to him for a meet-up.
Britney Spears and Jason Trawick’s Reunion Is Nothing Romantic
This meeting might have raised some eyebrows for a budding romance between the two. However, an insider went on to clarify that there’s nothing romantic going on between Britney and Jason. The former couple are just good friends.
The Toxic singer also documented some parts of her trip featuring her brother on her Instagram account. However, there was no sign of Trawick or their latest reunion on her socials.
Well-wishers of the pop icon are happy about this reunion as Britney needed a fresh start after finalizing her divorce from Sam Asghari and also being involved in a physical altercation with her rumored boyfriend Paul Soliz in May 2024. To say the least, she had a lot going on in her personal life prior to the meet-up with Jason.
Britney Spears and Jason Trawick first met each other professionally back in 2009 when the latter was her agent. The two soon started dating and got engaged in December 2011. However, after a year of engagement, Spears and Trawick broke up in January 2013.
Fans Seem Unhappy With Britney’s Behavior
The online community was upset with Britney and Jason’s reunion. Discontent was harshly voiced out in several fan comments on a Facebook post about the two. One comment read,
