When asked by the host about the most romantic thing he had ever done for his wife, Dulquer revealed details from the couple’s first date. He shared,
“I have written pages and pages of letters… [For] my first date with my wife, I drove her from Chennai to Pondicherry… We got food… We spoke for like four hours…”
The Lucky Bhaskar star also opened up about how the couple’s love story began and the moment he realized Amaal was ‘the one’. He said,
“We went to the same school, and she was five years my junior… At a certain age in my family, [I] began to be forced to [settle down]… Then, for some weird reason, I kept seeing my wife Amaal in Chennai. I kept bumping into her at random places… And I was like, maybe this is a sign. So I reached out to her… and we decided to meet”.
Dulquer Salmaan and Amaal Sufiya got married in December 2011. After six years of marriage, the couple expanded their family with the birth of their daughter, Maryam Amira Salman, in May 2017.
