Freshly engaged Gabbriette Bechtel is head over heels in love with her fiancé Matty Healy. In an exclusive interview with British Vogue, published on July 16, 2024, the model opened up about her feelings for Healy after their recent engagement. 

Talking to interviewer Julia Hobbs, Bechtel shared her thoughts on being in love with the singer and how she knows it is different this time from all her past romantic pursuits. She shared,

“I love being in love! When I thought that I was in love before it was just me being a person of service to somebody else”. 

When asked about advice for people looking to find the right partner, Bechtel replied with,

“Answer all your DMs and listen to your closest friends. When they like somebody, you should listen to them”.

Gabbriette Bechtel Opens Up About Family Plans with Matty Healy

The model further opened up about her future family plans with her fiancé Healy. This includes their big move-in together to their new Hollywood Hills home and expanding their family with kids. Talking about her ideal future home life, Gabbriette Bechtel shared,

“When I have kids, it’s going to be: dinner every night – no phones – to celebrate the smaller things and recognise people’s happiness”. 

Gabbriette Bechtel and Matty Healy first started dating in September 2023 when they were spotted kissing on a date night in New York City. After dating for less than a year, the couple got engaged in June 2024. They keep their relationship mostly away from the public eye.
