Hilarie Burton is gearing up for a special milestone, sharing her exciting plans to celebrate five wonderful years of marriage with actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
On September 22, 2024, in an exclusive interview with E! News, the One Tree Hill star revealed what their upcoming anniversary on October 5, will entail.
Given her husband’s busy schedule, Hilarie explained that they are planning to have an early celebration, nearly a week ahead of the actual date. She shared,
“I’m going to see him next week to celebrate a little bit early. He’s traveling for work, and so I’m going to see him for a whirlwind 24 hours and no one should expect to be in touch with us. It’s kind of great”.
Further in the interview, Burton shared her personal insights and essential relationship advice that have sustained her 15-year romance and eventual marriage to Jeffrey.
Emphasizing the importance of communication in their relationship, she stated,
“Obviously communication is a very big deal and also anticipating that your partner is going to go through phases and changes… And we try to work in tandem so that we’re each compensating for each other”.
