It looks like the relationship between Hollywood’s iconic exes, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, has taken another dramatic turn.
On March 18, 2025, the CARNIVAL rapper lashed out at his ex-wife in a series of tweets on his official X account, some of which have since been deleted.
Kanye’s latest outburst was sparked by a musical collaboration between his and Kim’s eldest daughter, North West, and rapper Playboi Carti, something he is strongly against. He first took aim at Kim, accusing her of controlling their children’s lives and careers, writing,
“So Kim got the name and likeness over my black children. So a white women has control over the name and likeness of my Black children and then speaks to carti about putting my daughter on a song with him”.

West then turned his frustration toward Carti, calling him out for allegedly going behind his back. He wrote,
“These [dumb a**] celebrities be trying to play with me in my face… Carti Crossed every line imaginable! He went to my EX behind my back like a snake, disrespectin’ my whole legacy! I gave him chances and this is how he repays me?”

The God Is singer continued his tirade on X, sharing more tweets explaining why he disapproved of his ex-wife’s decision to let North collaborate with Carti.
Kanye revealed that he was supposed to be part of Carti’s album but was unexpectedly dropped, only to later discover that the latter was working with North instead. Expressing his frustration, he wrote,
“I decided North wont be doing any songs with Carti. How it look for me to get left off the album and then he ask Kim to have vocals from my daughter. I don’t a f*** about none of this industry s**t… and I dont give a f**k what no comments”.
West’s rant escalated as he referenced how he had previously supported the Miss The Rage rapper by featuring him on his 2024 hit single CARNIVAL, only to now be replaced by his own daughter. He added,
“Hey North your dad gave me my biggest song and co sign and I left him off of my album because of his tweets … oh but north you my niece I gotta use your vocals”.
Kanye’s back-to-back X attacks on Kim came just a day after reports surfaced on March 17, 2025, that the reality TV star was considering stripping him of custody rights over their four children.
The legal battle escalated after West allegedly broke an agreement made during a March 14 mediation session with the Kardashians star. During the session, he had agreed not to release a song featuring their 11-year-old daughter, North, alongside disgraced rapper Diddy, who is currently facing multiple sexual crime allegations.
Despite this agreement, the Heartless rapper went ahead and dropped the track, featuring North’s rap lyrics, on March 15. Though the song was quickly deleted, the damage had already been done.
