Doctor turned actor Ken Jeong, recently announced a major milestone in his love life, marking an unexpected chapter in his journey with wife Tran Ho.
On September 5, 2024, Jeong took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post marking his 20th wedding anniversary. The post featured a throwback photo of Ken and Tran, from their wedding day.
In the snap, the Dr. Ken actor opted for a classic black suit, paired with a white shirt, black tie, and a single white rose in his blazer pocket. Tran, on the other hand, looked elegant in a simple strapless white gown, accessorized with a white pearl necklace and matching white flowers in her hair.
Focusing on the rare photo, Jeong’s caption was both simple and heartfelt. He expressed his enduring love for Ho with a single red heart emoji in the caption. He wrote,

Ken Jeong Shares The Secret To His Long Lasting Relationship With Tran Ho
In a 2015 interview on the Death, Sex & Money podcast, the actor shared a heartwarming insight into his enduring romance with Tran. He explained that their shared love of comedy and sense of humor has been a cornerstone of their relationship. He said,
“She was really the first person I ever met that made me laugh so hard. She’s just so funny. We are really bonded by our love of comedy. You don’t meet a lot of people, much less date them, who like that, but we had that in common”.
In 2011, Tran Ho was diagnosed with breast cancer while Jeong was gaining momentum in his acting career with films like The Hangover. In an open letter to HuffPost, Jeong expressed his deep gratitude for his wife’s unwavering support during this challenging time. He wrote,
“I’m very blessed to have a supportive wife… She would not let her diagnosis change our lives or strip us from our dreams. For as long as we’d known each other, she’d been my biggest champion in my efforts to pursue a career in comedy”.
Ken Jeong first met his wife while they were both working at the same hospital in the early 2000s. After dating for a while, the couple secretly married in September 2004 in an intimate ceremony. They also share two daughters, Alexa and Zooey.
