For reality TV star Khloe Kardashian, self-love and prioritizing her children have taken center stage in her life.
On the January 22, 2025, episode of her podcast, Khloe In Wonderland, the Kardashians star opened up about her love life since her infamous split from ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson in late 2021.
In a candid conversation with guest Jay Shetty, Khloe shared her reasons behind embracing singlehood, explaining that the love she needs comes from her children, True and Tatum, whom she shares with her ex. She explained,
“I’ve chosen not to—because I genuinely don’t want to—I’m not dating. My relationship with my kids is just everything to me. Where I am in my life right now, I just really want to nurture this love and I just want to be as present as I can. I don’t want any distractions in my life”.
However, Khloe quickly clarified that while she’s not dating now, she’s not entirely closing the door on the possibility of finding love in the future. Reflecting on her current outlook, she shared,
“If I meet someone in two months, two years and I fall in love—great. But I’m not actively on the dating scene searching for someone… I feel so fulfilled. I also love that I’ve taken about three years off of dating, and I feel like I really got to know myself”.

When asked by Jay during the podcast episode what qualities she seeks in a potential partner, Khloe shared a heartfelt and straightforward response,
“The right one that I would want to be around my children and around my family”.
Earlier, on an episode of the season 5 of The Kardashians, which premiered on June 6, 2024, Khloe addressed her singledom and emphasized her focus on motherhood and self-care. She shared,
“I don’t want to [find a boyfriend]. Once I am done with the kids… I have limited time… I’m not sharing it with a man… and I am not sharing my bed… I am exhausted. I don’t want anything… I don’t want anyone stopping my routine”.
