Reality TV star Kyle Richards and her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, seem to be navigating an increasingly complicated marriage.
On the February 25, 2025, episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle opened up about her lingering feelings for Mauricio, admitting that nearly two years after their split, she still struggles to move on.
Frustrated by her inability to take the next step while their divorce remains unsettled, Richards revealed that while she feels stuck, Umansky has fully embraced his newfound freedom. She candidly shared,
“He goes and lives his life and he’s having fun… And I know that’s what being separated is supposed to be, taking this time to figure out everything. [But I feel] anxious and impatient, because I want to know what my life’s gonna be”.
Despite her frustration, the reality star admitted that a part of her is hesitant to finalize the divorce. Explaining why she’s holding on to their marriage, Richards confessed,
“I guess it’s just there’s a little part of me that thinks — okay, say I move on with somebody new, and then what if he’s like, okay, I went and sowed my wild oats and I want to come back?”

Richards and Umansky shared 27 years of marriage, from 1996 until their separation in late 2023.
Looking back on their time together, Kyle admitted that despite the heartbreak, she once saw their lasting relationship as an achievement—especially in a world where many around her experienced short-lived marriages. Opening up about her emotions, Kyle shared,
“I was always so proud that I had been married so long because I didn’t have a good role model growing up, in that aspect. I was very proud of that. I was like, this is my biggest accomplishment”.
Since late December 2024, Kyle’s estranged husband has been romantically linked to Klaudia K, a model nearly 20 years his junior, after the two were spotted vacationing together in Aspen, Colorado, over the holidays.
Seemingly addressing the situation, Kyle hinted at her own hopes of reentering the dating world. Reflecting on her emotions, she shared,
“I don’t know what’s more sad, but if he didn’t want to fight for me, or if he wanted to and didn’t know how. Either way, he didn’t. I’m starting to feel like I need to move on”.
Earlier, on February 4, 2025, during Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast, Kyle opened up about the growing tension between her and Mauricio, particularly in light of his new romantic interests. Addressing the awkward dynamic, she admitted,
“There’s so much to talk about, but I don’t really want to talk about that right now, and he didn’t either. A lot of the time, I felt like, okay, for lack of a better word, there’s an elephant in the room that we’re not discussing…”
