Reality TV star Trista Sutter has finally broken her silence on rumors surrounding her marriage to Ryan Sutter, clarifying the couple’s current relationship status.
During an exclusive interview with US Weekly on January 16, 2025, Trista addressed the online speculation and whispers about her marriage being on the rocks after her brief absence from her family in May 2024.
Speaking candidly about how quickly assumptions were made, Mrs. Sutter expressed her frustration over the rumors, saying,
“Everyone is quick to assume the worst things. I think it’s human nature, honestly. I mean, I didn’t know what happened to the world. I’m like, All of you have lost your minds… I had people texting me nonstop… Did you guys get divorced? Are you having a trial separation? What’s happening?”
Despite the chaos caused by the speculation, the Bachelorette alum—who first met her husband on the first season of the show—expressed gratitude for the overwhelming fan support for her and Ryan’s relationship.
Reflecting on the positive side of the situation, Trista shared,
“I do have to say it made me feel good that people actually cared. We’ve been married for 21 years. The show was on a really long time ago, and the fact that people still care was very humbling to me and very sweet, even though it was very chaotic”.
