Usher revealed that the ceremony was a spur-of-the-moment decision, just days after the couple obtained their marriage license and shortly before his highly anticipated performance at the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show. He shared,
“It was an abrupt thing. We decided at the last minute to do it. [I am] very happy to have married in Las Vegas. It’s probably one of the easiest ceremonies that I’ve ever experienced in my life. I [was able to] really enjoy this moment between me and my wife and my children and my intimate and immediate family”.
