David Venable has a knack for perfectly marrying ingredients on a plate. But does the beloved QVC host have a romance simmering behind the scenes? There has been speculation regarding David’s sexuality and relationships, but he hasn’t given us enough hints to prove anything solid.

Is David Venable Dating?

David Venable is single and unmarried. Despite widespread speculation, the host currently has no romantic partner in his life. 

However, in July 2016, television network QVC made a cryptic post on their official Facebook page, leaving fans to believe that David was finally hitched to a woman called Tara McConnell.

The caption of the post read:

“How sweet! David Venable QVC had an important role in Temp-tations by Tara McConnell’s wedding this past weekend!”

Supportive fans flooded the post with comments, with one user saying,

“So beautiful, your pictures gave me happy tears for you guys. Congratulations to both of you guys, wishing you the best that life can bring you!!!”

However, it turns out that David and Tara were not getting hitched to each other. Tara was getting married to a man called Ed Tesher, and David was just a guest in attendance. 

Tara McConnell, who now goes by the name Tara Tesher, is an entrepreneur, cookbook author, and founder of a kitchenware brand called ‘Temp-tations’. As his friend of over 30 years, she is also a regular on David Venable’s popular QVC show ‘n the Kitchen with David.

Unfortunately for us, David Venable hasn’t publicly revealed anything about his love life. He might as well be a one-course kind of guy with his focus on perfecting that recipe rather than a romantic pursuit.
