Former lovebirds Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s massive Beverly Hills mansion just took a sizable price cut.
As of May 6, 2025, the asking price for their former marital home has been slashed by $8 million after sitting unsold on the market for over 10 months. According to multiple real estate listings, the price is now down to $59,950,000 from its original $68 million.
This cut means the pair are now facing a loss of $8 million on the property, which was purchased by the Gone Girl star and Lopez in May 2023. And by July 2024, just a month before the Jenny From The Block singer filed for divorce, the house quietly hit the market.

A few months before Ben and Jennifer decided to sell, multiple insiders told PEOPLE magazine in May 2024 that the couple had already been living apart for a while. One source shared at the time,
“Ben has not been staying at the couple’s Los Angeles home. He is instead staying at one of their other properties”.
Insider Claims Affleck And Lopez Are At Odds Over Mansion Sale Price
Just days before the new price cut, on April 23, 2025, sources close to the exes spilled to media outlet TMZ that the two were clashing over the sale of their former marital home.
According to one insider, the sky-high asking price was exactly why the mansion had been sitting unsold. They said,
“Asking price is way too high. Ben and Jennifer need to drop it by at least 15% if they hope to sell. Folks who have the means to buy expensive mansions are looking for real estate deals right now, and at the current price, this place is far from a steal. Ben… wants to lower the price, but Lopez is dragging her feet”.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were married for two years, from July 2022 to July 2024, before the singer filed for divorce in August 2024. Their divorce was finalized in January 2025.
Earlier, in late March 2025, the Accountant star opened up about his divorce from Jennifer in an exclusive GQ cover interview for their April 2025 issue.
Reflecting on their marital breakdown, Ben revealed the reason for their split, shutting down rumors of drama. He emphasized that their divorce wasn’t due to scandal or betrayal and explained,
“My temperament is to be a little bit more reserved and private than hers. There’s a tendency to look at breakups and want to identify root causes. But honestly, [there’s] much more than probably people would believe. There’s no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue…”
Fans Sarcastically Mock The Ex-Couple’s Latest Price Cut Drama
The internet did not hold back after news broke about the mansion’s massive price cut. Social media users had a field day roasting the sale, with many targeting Ben. Some such comments read,
“Oh hold up…. 8 million less …. Let me get my wallet 😅”
“The worst mistake of their lives 😂”
“They lived there 5 minutes”.
“They better take the deal it’s going to sell for less than that the way the economy going”.
“This man was the worst thing [she] ever did….”
“No one wants to live out there anymore, it’s gross”.
“I’ll buy it for 2 dollars lol”.
“You had no business buying a house so far beyond your means”.
“They were both so stupid to buy it when they knew their marriage was dumping don’t feel sorry”.
With fans roasting every move, it’s safe to say Ben and J.Lo’s mansion sale is now officially a cautionary tale. What’s next for the exes? Only time will tell!
