As The World Turns co-stars Cady and Jon announced their decision to split from each other after a decade-long marriage on April 27, 2024. The former couple took to Instagram to release a joint statement about their separation.
They wrote,
“Cady and Jon here. We are taking this opportunity to make a short statement about our relationship status… After serious consideration we have decided that our goals have been taking us in different directions and to end our marriage”.
Honoring their 10 years of marital history together, Cady and Jon further added,
“We remain friends and wish each other every happiness”.
Cady McClain and Jon Lindstrom’s love story began while filming season 54 of As The World Turns. After nearly four years of dating, they sealed the deal with a Valentine’s Day wedding in 2014. All was well between the two until a few months ago, when Cady and Jon suddenly appeared to be spending time apart on their socials.
The couple has turned off comments on this Instagram post as they requested privacy and kindness from their fans while navigating this difficult phase. Concluding the statement, Cady and Jon added,
“As people who work in the public eye, it can be difficult to have a private life. Regardless, we ask for your kind consideration in this matter”.
Following this announcement, Jon has gone quiet on Instagram. Cady appears to be moving on, as her social media posts show her traveling around New York City, visiting theaters and studios for work.
