Reality TV star Kyle Richards and her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, appear to have hit yet another rocky patch in their already complicated relationship.
On the March 4, 2025 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle opened up about her reaction to a now-viral photo of Mauricio passionately kissing an unidentified woman at the Mykonos airport. The image was originally captured in July 2024.
Though Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for nearly two years, she admitted that while she knew they would eventually start exploring new relationships, she didn’t expect to find out about it so publicly. Reflecting on the shocking image, Richards shared,
“I am a little bit shocked and still processing the photos… I always believed I’ld see him and his new romantic partners out and about in public and not online for the whole world to see”.
Kyle went on to share how emotionally conflicted she feels while trying to navigate the unexpected news, adding,
“I don’t want him to feel guilty, because he’s allowed to do what he wants. But it’s also like, why are you being irresponsible? I don’t know. I have a lot of mixed feelings, that’s why I’m saying I’m just processing it all”.

The segment wrapped up with the reality star openly questioning what the future holds for her and Umansky as he moves on with someone new.
Reflecting on how his next relationship could impact their dynamic, Kyle admitted that having new people in his life could complicate the understanding they’ve tried to maintain since their separation. She vulnerably shared,
“Am I going to feel differently now? Is he not going to want to be as nice to me now? Is he not going to be allowed to if he has a new person in his life that doesn’t like that? All these thoughts are going through my head”.
A few days prior to this candid revelation, on the February 25, 2025, episode of the show, Richards admitted that she still has lingering feelings for Mauricio and struggles to move on. She shared,
“He goes and lives his life and he’s having fun… And I know that’s what being separated is supposed to be… [But] there’s a little part of me that thinks — okay, say I move on with somebody new, and then what if he’s like, okay, I went and sowed my wild oats and I want to come back?”
Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky were married for 27 years, from 1996 until their separation in late 2023. Together, they share three daughters. However, neither of them has taken the step to officially file for divorce.
